Cancellation Policy

How to cancel — and what happens when you do — across every way you pay us.

Last updated: 13 May 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains how to cancel a paid offering from Leyecodes Ltd. For details about whether a cancellation results in a refund, see our Refund Policy.

2. Custom software engagements

Either party may terminate an engagement under the conditions set out in the signed Statement of Work (“SOW”). Unless the SOW says otherwise:

  • You may cancel for convenience by giving us 14 days’ written notice. Work completed up to the effective cancellation date is invoiced and payable in full.
  • We may cancel for convenience by giving you 30 days’ written notice, with any prepayments for work not yet performed refunded on a pro-rated basis.
  • Either party may cancel immediately for a material breach that the other party fails to cure within 14 days of written notice.
  • Deposits paid to secure capacity remain non-refundable on cancellation — see our Refund Policy.

Send written cancellation notice to billing@leyecodes.com with your project reference.

3. Subscription products

  • You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing billing@leyecodes.com.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access to paid features until that date.
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle once cancellation is confirmed.
  • Any refund eligibility — for example, a first-time subscriber within the seven-day window — is governed by our Refund Policy.

4. One-off products and fixed-fee services

  • Before work begins or delivery occurs: you may cancel and receive a full refund.
  • Once delivery has begun: cancellation does not entitle you to a refund except where the product is materially defective and cannot be remedied. See the Refund Policy.

5. Cancellation by Leyecodes

We may suspend or cancel a paid offering, with notice where reasonably practicable, if:

  • Payment is overdue and remains unpaid after a reminder.
  • The offering is being used in breach of our Terms of Service or applicable law.
  • Continuing to provide the offering would pose a security, compliance, or safety risk.

Where we cancel for a reason other than your breach, we will refund prepayments for unused service on a pro-rated basis.

6. Effect of cancellation

  • You will lose access to paid features at the end of the period you have paid for.
  • We will retain data only as long as required to fulfil legal, accounting, and reporting obligations, then delete or anonymise it in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • Outstanding invoices for work already delivered remain payable.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest change. Changes do not apply retroactively to cancellations already in progress.
