NaijaTask is a micro-task marketplace built for Lagos: posters list short jobs — errands, deliveries, quick fixes — and nearby workers claim them. The trust gap that kills peer-to-peer platforms in this market is closed with Paystack-backed escrow: money is held until both sides confirm the job is done.
Location is the core mechanic. PostGIS powers radius-based task search, so workers only see what's actually reachable — a design decision that matters in a city where 'nearby' can mean two hours in traffic.
Leyecodes designed the PostgreSQL schema from scratch around Nigerian task patterns and built the platform on Expo and Supabase, with a business model researched specifically for the Lagos market.
